It looks like a rainy weekend is here, so forget about washing your car and go hear some Live Music instead! Here’s some ideas on where to go:
In Jupiter Pam & Dave are at Leftover’s starting at 12:30 playing a wide variety of tunes from Motown to Jazz, Ella Herrera will be playing some of her original songs acoustically at Maxi’s from 1 to 4, the Killbillies will be jammin’ at the Square Grouper at 3, and Acoustic Soul featuring Gary Frost from the Phat Cats are entertaining at Tiki 52 from 4 to 7.
Rudy’s Pub in Lake Worth will be hoppin’ all afternoon with their weekly “Pickers in the Round” featuring some the areas’s best acoustic players.
Down in Delray Beach Justin Enco and the Poor Life Decisions band will be playing their americana style rock at Deck 84, and Big Medicine will be filling in for Amber Leigh at Boston’s with some rock jams.
Boynton Beach has Daryl Raines at The Backyard at 3 and Crazy Chester at Two Georges at 4.
You’ve got your choice of three free concerts tonight from 6 to 8 to get you through the week:
Delray Marketplace is hosting the JD Danner Band (Country)
Clematis by Night has Slip Mahoney playing with the Sweet Chariots (Rockabilly and Surf)
Mainstreet at Midtown has JP Soars and Gypsy Blue (Blues and Jazz)
Take your pick – they’re all good choices!
The Flyers are going to put Delray Beach (and Palm Beach County) on the Music Map! But they could use a little help from all of us to get out to southern California to make their next EP. Click on this LET’S GO FLYERS! link to see how you can become part of The Flyers success!
If you’ve seen them live you know what we’re talkin’ about! If not, do yourself a favor and go catch a show next week at Johnny Brown’s on Wednesday, Copper Blues on Thursday, or Maxi’s on Saturday. You won’t be disappointed!
